Nyx2
Our second-generation Bluetooth cable, rebuilt around Qualcomm’s flagship QCC5181: newer Bluetooth, more processing and codecs up to lossless, at the same 15 g you forget you are wearing.
Platform
Nyx2 runs on Qualcomm’s QCC5181, the flagship of its S5 Gen 2 audio platform. Two Kalimba audio DSP cores (up to 240 MHz) and a separate application processor handle decoding, calls and power at the same time.
It is qualified to Bluetooth 5.4 and stays backward compatible with older phones, tablets and players.
Codecs
LDAC and aptX Adaptive both stream at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz, and aptX Adaptive adjusts to the connection, so music stays smooth when the air gets busy. On phones with Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless carries CD-quality 44.1 kHz audio without compression.
aptX HD, aptX, AAC for iPhone and SBC are all supported, so every source plays at its best.
Next-Generation Bluetooth
QCC5181 adds Bluetooth LE Audio: efficient LC3 streaming and a low-latency gaming mode, ready for the next generation of phones and tablets. With older devices, Nyx2 uses classic Bluetooth as usual.
Voice
Qualcomm cVc echo cancellation and noise suppression clean up your voice on calls. The in-line remote handles volume, track skip, playback, calls and your voice assistant without reaching for your phone.
Comfort
At 15 g with pre-formed ear hooks, Nyx2 sits comfortably through a full day. Up to 20 hours of playback per charge and up to 25 m of range take it from the commute to the studio.

Battery
Turn Nyx2 off, then charge it with the included USB-C cable from a computer or a charger rated 10 W or less, for example 5 V / 1 A. High-power fast chargers can damage the battery.
The light is red while charging and turns blue when Nyx2 is full, after about 2 hours.
Earphones in the photos are for illustration only and are not included.
Care
Coil it loosely in large loops when you store it.
Unplug by holding the connector, not the cable, and avoid sharp bends right at the plugs.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it away from solvents and alcohol-based cleaners.
Every cable has a 1-year warranty. If anything goes wrong, contact us and we’ll take care of it.

Works well
The cable works great. I use it when I work out with my IEM’s in. I like it a lot. The only suggestion I would make is for it to tell you the percentage of battery life left. That’s it. Everything else is perfect.
Works well with 64audio A18s!
Great sound quality extending the usability of my A18s CIEMs! Suggestions for improvement would be for a manual to be included with the item, better way to indicate successful Bluetooth connection and if possible for connection with multiple devices. Nevertheless still a 5-star item for the quality!

Questions
aptX Lossless needs a phone with Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless support. Many other Android phones use LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD or aptX, and iPhone uses AAC; Nyx2 uses the best codec your phone offers.
Yes. iPhone connects over AAC, with full in-line remote and call support. aptX codecs are not available on iPhone.
Choose your earphone connector in the configurator above: 2PIN is the default, and MMCX, Sennheiser IE300/600/900, IPX, A2DC, Etymotic, FitEar, Sony, Ultimate Ears, KZ C-pin 0.75 mm 2PIN and KZ/64 Audio flat 0.75 mm 2PIN connectors are available.
LE Audio is the newer Bluetooth audio standard, with the efficient LC3 codec and lower latency. It needs a phone or tablet that supports it; with older devices Nyx2 uses classic Bluetooth as usual.

The first time you turn it on, Nyx2 goes into pairing mode by itself (the red and blue lights flash in turn). Choose Nyx2 in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Every button and light is explained in the manual.

Standard builds can be returned within 14 days of confirmed delivery if unused and in their original packaging. Change-of-mind returns carry a 30% restocking fee, and shipping is not refunded.
Custom spec, length or connector builds cannot be returned for a change of mind once production starts. Faults are a different matter: every cable has a 1-year warranty, so contact support@null-audio.com and we will assess it.
