Thera MKV UP-OCC Cryo Silver Headphone/IEM Cable

I have to say ASH 7 drivers Hybrid IEM is brilliant! The custom molding done in house and fitment of the IEM is very good. Quality of the IEM is top notch. Sound quality is fantastic if (I should say a MUST upgrade not IF) you upgrade your cables to the Thera MKIII UP-OCC Cryo Silver Headphone/IEM Cable.

ASH 7 drivers Hybrid comes with the copper cable which I personally think makes the IEM sound muddier and lack the high end frequancy. Simply put it... it doesn't sound as clean and clear with the copper cable. I have no regrets whatsoever to go for the upgrade right from the start. It was the best thing ever! With the MKIII the IEM immediately sounded very different! The sound stage is very impressive with the MKIII Cryo silver cable. Everything was clearer, cleaner and articulate making listening to the music a total joy!

As for using it as my IEM for drumming... It works perfectly and exactly what I wanted for a IEM. It is a must to get the Premium Interconnect Cable for customization if you wish to listen music with your phone! Listening to Spotify and Youtube music will never be the same anymore!!! Pure joy to travel with it!!

I was looking for slightly brighter sounding cable for my 64 Audio custom IEM, and this is the perfect one. Great feels, great design, amazing build. It’s already my 3 cable from Null Audio, I’ve been extremely happy

I listen to HD jazz & classical music using a Luxury & Precision P6 Pro DAP with Cosmic Ears CE6P IEMs. I purchased the AAW Thera MKII UP-OCC Cryo Silver IEM cable as an upgrade of a cable from a major manufacturer that costs about half the price of the AAW Thera. I’ve been listening for about 25 hours so the cable is most likely not burnt in fully.

I’m extremely pleased with my purchase. As other reviewers have pointed out these cables are a stunning work of art, manufactured to the highest standards. I opted for the herringbone 8 braided configuration and although they are heavier than a conventional cable I’ve found them to be perfectly comfortable listening to music when seated.

The sound is supremely better than my original cables. The sound stage is wide and holographic with excellent separation of individual instruments in pieces ranging from orchestral music to small jazz groups. In a cacophony of orchestral percussion and brass a single wind instrument resolves with absolute precision and detail. I suspected that the Null audio cable would release greater depth, clarity, precision and detail from my music collection given the quality of the DAP and IEMs and I am not disappointed. They are superb to the extent that I have to listen to my entire music collection again and am constantly astonished to hear detail and nuances that I had not been aware of before. Thank you Null Audio.

I’ve never believed that cables make any difference in sound. I have several cables in the past, all of which different quality in copper and to me, it sounded the same. I wanted to try whether or not silver makes any difference. I ended up here at Null Audio, ordered the Thera MKII and added the herringbone upgrade. As soon as it came in, I connected it straight to my Empire Ears Legend EVO IEM. For those that don’t know about this IEM, it is a hybrid configuration with a Bone Conduction driver, two dynamic drivers and 5 balanced armatures. This IEM is a BASS CANNON, which slightly recesses the treble. I love the performance but always wished that there was a bit more bite to the treble frequencies. I’ve noticed with this cable, the soundstage is much wider now along with adding a bit of sparkle on the top end. Just enough to make this my endgame. It also smooths out the bass which for some songs can be too much. The build quality and materials of this cable rivals cables that cost twice to three times more than it. I’m very happy that I came across Null Audio and purchased this cable. You will not regret your purchase here. If you’re looking for a little more sparkle in your top end and a wider soundstage, please consider purchasing the AAW Thera. It is a bit heavier due to the herringbone upgrade, so if you want a lighter cable, don’t opt for that upgrade.

I purchased the Thera 2.5mm balanced MMCX with extra 8 braid herringbone option and as soon as I used then with my Campfire Audio Solaris 2020 IEMs I noticed the expanded and deeper soundstage immediately. They made my IEMs sound very similar to the balanced tuning of Astell&Kern SP2000 no matter what source device they were playing from. There is a level of crispness bit still a smooth balanced sound. I had no idea a different cable could make so much difference for IEMs! The previous cables I used with my Solaris 2020 sounds so thin compared to the this Thera cable, I also noticed that this cable is dead silent compared to my older cable from LQI. I'm very surprised indeed! I had no idea cables can change the dynamics so much especially for IEMs!
Expensive if you get the 8 braid option, I would recommend you get the standard braid option because the 8 braid is a little heavy and may not be for everyone.

Good quality cable and sound great.

If you are a dedicated HiFi Audio fan who love ACG music or female vocal, I believe you could realize how the cable could improve the sound field and sound separation. Most importantly, the deep bass does not compromise the clarity of female vocal. Finally, it also improves the response rate of certain high pitch sound, as well as shad about 70% of the tooth sound of my earphone. I expect the higher performance of the cable when I use the balanced output of my Sony NW-WM1Z Player that has not yet arrived. Overall, the cable is expensive but I think it is worth to pay.

Beautiful appearance hardware and gorgeous bright (and feeling dry a little) sound.
In my opinion, these two points are characteristic of Thera.
This is a good product that realized high quality at a price that is not too high.
I expect that also durability will be improved conpared to LuneMk4,but it will take some months(or a year) till the results appear.

I’ve had a pair of InEar SD-4 for a couple years now and always meant to replace the stock cable with a better quality cable and go balanced at the same time to fully utilise my AK320. But I struggled to identify the right cable and connector plus justify the cost. I then chose the Vitesse and had Null Audio make up the right cable and WOW. What a fool I get for not doing earlier. Suddenly the SD-4, already a caoable IEM, was transformed and came alive. Music had so much more life and energy and I my smile was perming a rly stuck on my face. These cables are worth every cent and the wait if having something made just for you rather than off the self. I will now be buying for some of my other IEM & Headphones.

Now I owned both AAW A3H pro and Vitesse Cryo 7N pure silver cable. It's a combo!! Overall, I really enjoy and satisfied with the sound clarity. Thank you Dr Xu!!

Got the VITESSE CRYO 7N CGOCC-A PURE SILVER For my JH Audio Layla 2.
Really loving it,
High now better extension.
Vocal have a bit more body.
Bass have more control and better texture also.
Not to mention that the separation also improve.
Overall very happy with the cable.
I'll say is the most value for money pure silver cable that you can find out there.

The service and response from Null Audio was very prompt attending to my product queries. This had enabled me to place the order for the Thera cable. Delivery was also very fast.

I enjoyed the Thera sliver pairing with the Hifiman HE1000. The highs and timbre are airy, coupled with a good mid texture. Bass is well controlled with right amount of slams. This is a good cable punching above its price.

Thera MKIII is a gorgeous cable.
But to compare with my first cable, Lune Series MKVII, that makes me realize how Lune is still great cable or very good enough in term of the price.
Thera is slightly higher to the next level, however, less than I expected.
I might need a better DAP to find out the true performance of Thera.
Though I enjoy these fantastic cable qualities and the designs.

The first few hours of using this cable were painful. The bass was suddenly just gone. As the cable burned in, the bass returned. The sound is very neutral, and quick. While the bass is punchy, it has less rumble than my previous cable. It is very noticeable if you listen to EDMs and expect a lot of sub-bass rumble. Of course, you expect this effect from a silver cable. My IEM is UE Live and the dynamic driver can produce big bass/sub-bass. It's notably more subdued using this cable. I think a silver/copper blend would be a better blend to keep the bass rumble and the quickness and spaciousness of silver.

The previous UE TF10 connector worked with super.fi 5Pro (predecessor of UE TF10), but this connector did not fit well, so I decided to use it on TF10. However, it was unfortunately not an upgrade over the Lune Series. The Lune of several generations ago, a thick black cloth-like cable, sounded better. This cable does not seem to work well with TF10 or super.fi 5Pro, and I was not as impressed as other reviewers were.

I use the dap with nw-wm1a and iem with ue live. Anyway, the localization and separation of the sound is great.

I'm using the cable with moondrop Variations and i noted an increase in space and details. Need more time for a complete rewiev.
