The FlexiPlug is a multi-connection system, enabling users to switch to adequate connectors for their IEMs.
Currently supporting 2PIN, IE300, A2DC, IPX, Pentaconn Ears and QDC 2PIN.
Designed, handcrafted and shipped from Singapore.
Built-to-order. Lead time around 1 week.
Ear guide (~10cm) is installed by default for commonly used IEM connectors (e.g. 2PIN, MMCX, IPX). Let us know if your IEM/headphone is modified or needs extra customization.
Care
Coil it loosely in large loops and keep it in the included leather pouch when you’re on the move.
Unplug by holding the connector, not the cable, and avoid sharp bends right at the plugs.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it away from solvents and alcohol-based cleaners.
Every cable has a 1-year warranty. If anything goes wrong, contact us and we’ll take care of it.

Exceptional Cable
I now have both the 4W and 8W Hakone running my UM Fusang's. The 8W does take it to another level but both are exceptional and I have tried countless cables many of which were multiple $$$ of these cables. Holographic presentation with deep, tight bass - amazing vocals - air for days and great extension without getting bright. What more can you ask for....

My UM Fusang's are very source sensitive and the Hakone turns out to be the perfect match after trying many others from copper to silver/gold. Incredible detail/air, deep tight bass, well defined, natural vocals - the Fusang's are now performing to their promise. Thanks!

The staging is also wide, the sense of hitting the bass, the sweet vocal, the cool highs The overall density is very good and bright. The build quality of the product is also excellent

I purposely bought this cable to mitigate somewhat recessed mid range for ie900. I got this great idea from one of the reviewers on this page mentioning that the cable makes the sound signature inverted V shape, which is actually perfect fit to counteract against recessed mid of ie900, well, at least theoretically. So I hooked Hakone up and compared against the stock cable for ie900. I do feel that it ever so slightly opens up the sound but I am not too sure about boosting the mid. My conclusion is that I should tame the expectations on custom cables, as such that the difference is very minute and nuanced, and it cannot overcome the intrinsic sound signature of the IEM/headphones. Nonetheless, I am certainly enjoying tad bit wider sound stage it gives. More than anything, the cable looks great and comfort is top notch.

I’ve had problems with getting Mmcx cable that fits my IE600’s. Not only does this fit perfectly, but has a great sound, and no microphonics. Highly recommended!
It brings me powerful bass due to the use of copper cables and clear high range due to the use of silver cables
The cable is gorgeous and sturdy. It opens up the sound a bit more on my AAW Nightingale planar iem and brings out the treble.
Have been using the Lune cable from Null-Audio and took the chance to do an upgrade when there was an offer on the Hakone. Was looking for something that would really take advantage of the low end drivers for my UE Live CIEMs and the Hakone didn’t disappoint. Yes, there was a difference in the low end and bit more headroom when I compare it. Now it sounds a lot closer to my Studio Monitors that I’ve grown used to doing my studio mixes and using it live with the UE has been an even better experience from the Lune series (not that it’s bad, just a tad more open) Using the Lune now on my backup pair of Unique Melody CIEMs and got the best of both worlds.
Very pleased with this cable, using it with Hifiman Arya/Susvara. I like the ergonomic and the clear sounds it has. Good value for such quality
I used a Dap AK Khan alpha.
Surpringly, 4.4 balanced Hakone expressed the sound clearly with Canary.

I am very pleased with the cables
The making is as beautiful as the other models.
I felt the sound quality was the same as the impression I received from the specs.
I think the cost performance is high compared to similar cables from other companies.
Very High Quality and beautiful Build, premium sound quality with fair price.
The cable is really nicely built and looks stunning, yet the sound signiture is very odd and different from other copper silver hybrid cables,e.g. EA ErosII.
In brief, it is strongly inverted V shape, the vocal is very close to the ear, but the other ranges are all recessed. It is simply not what I expected, but may be someone may like this exceptional sound signiture ....

I would like to purchase this cable in 2.5mm TRRS to 2 3.5 jacks (for a hifiman Audivina).
I don't see plain 3.5 jacks in the configurator, will Beyer T1/T5 do the trick or will the custom Beyerdynamic locking mechanism get in the way?

Beyer T1/T5p is the same plug as our Dual 3.5 mm option, which Hakone offers (+USD 20). Choose Dual 3.5 mm if the Audivina has a 3.5 mm socket on each cup, and 2.5 mm balanced under Stereo connection.
I'm currently using Unique Melody Mentor V3 which has UM4pin connector and would like to know if you offer UM4pin option.

ear guide is the "J-shape" hook near 2pin connector, to fix cable over ear securely. kindly email us (support@null-audio.com) for more images.
May I know what's the main different between 4 wires vs. 8 wires braid cable? Sound signature? Design? Weight?
8-braid doubles the conductor, roughly halving the resistance. It is thicker and about 10–20 g heavier, so we recommend it for headphones and home use; 4-braid is more portable.

Every Hakone MKV is built to order by hand in Singapore. Lead time is around 1 week.

Yes. Choose Cable length in the configurator above: set any length from 50 cm to 3 m in 2 cm steps. Up to the standard 1.2 m costs nothing extra; longer cables cost more, and the price is shown before you add to cart.
For a length over 3 m, contact us or WhatsApp +65-8731-5476.
Standard builds can be returned within 14 days of confirmed delivery if unused and in their original packaging. Change-of-mind returns carry a 30% restocking fee, and shipping is not refunded.
Custom spec, length or connector builds cannot be returned for a change of mind once production starts. Faults are a different matter: every cable has a 1-year warranty, so contact support@null-audio.com and we will assess it.
