Null Audio Aoraki Mll iem cable

This is the second cable I have purchased from Null Audio, the first was a massive improvement over the O/E that was supplied with the iem's, the Aoraki is a game changer. In real terms I've only had a limited amount of listening time with the new cable compared to 3 years with the previous one, the difference is incredible, it's more musical, the sound staging sounds wider than before, it's another level, I'm delighted with the purchase and cannot wait to enjoy it more.

Superb Quality Right From the Start

I ordered the Symphonym - Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid Headphone/IEM Cable and realized that I mistakenly chose MMCX instead of IE300/600/900 connectors. A quick message back and forth with support fixed this and my cable was assembled, shipped and arrived quickly. I was impressed immediately by the packaging and care that Null Audio took in shipping this item. The cable has had about 15 hours of break-in time, and I am using a generic Motorola Android phone and a Questyle M15 DAC dongle for much of my listening. My impression so far is that the Symphonym - Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid Cable is a significant upgrade from the stock Pentaconn 4.4mm cable supplied by Sennheiser for the IE900 IEMs. This new cable opens up the highs and brings air, sparkle and shimmer around transients, a sense of depth and heighth to the soundstage--which has widened and now places some instruments and vocals outside my head. The bass, which was not an issue before, is now just as deep and tight but with a dramatic increase in pace and speed. Spending over a thousand US dollars for this cable should make anyone pause. But I am very happy with my purchase as well as Null Audio's excellent support. Ultimately, what matters is the music. My new Symponym Aoraki Mk II has made my music sound more alive, purposeful and less veiled. Imaging, musicality and tempo are all much more resolved and enjoyable. I highly recommend the Symphonym - Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid Headphone/IEM Cable to anyone whose music needs a more revealing presentation.

    Expand your sound stage

Going from Thera MKIII to Aoraki MKII has been pure bliss. Bass has more body and attacks are clearer, midrange is detailed (vocal music really shine through this cable). Higher frequencies are even better IMHO, they're here but never too bright; not an ounce of sibilance on a piccolo trumpet solo by Maurice André. Sound stage & instruments separation also get better, new details emerged from tracks I thought I knew inside out. Up until recently, I thought cables were a passive piece of equipment, and people able to hear variations between them were gifted with bionic ears (or worse, falling for deceptive sales pitch); well it's time to disagree with my former self :) This cable deserves its higher price tag; had I had more cash flow the herringbone braiding upgrade would have been on my order ! The Aoraki is divine

I have been enjoying my AAW Aoraki cable for 4 weeks now. I am extremely happy with it. The soundstage is wider and instrument placement is more defined. The bass response is very nice and I really like the detailed, lush mids and lack of sibilance in the treble. The build quality is top notch and the connectors are fantastic. I use this to connect my dap players to my ZMF Atriums, ZMF Verite closed, Meze Empyreans and Heddphone. I totally recommend the Aoraki and would buy it again. Looking to buy the Thera next.

One of the best aftermarket cable available, any prices... As I think.

All is in the title. Very technical, resolutive but at the same time very powerful, dynamic, explosive sound (all the bandwidth). Really a very great product. Fantastic match with my Aure Audio Ringo's and Elixir (best synergy with the first one). Ergonomics are very good too. Definitely recommended as a totl aftermarket cable (4 wires version). 😎👍

Game Changer - Symphonym - Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid Headphone/IEM Cable

My experience with Null Audio is limited, as I've only purchased one product. However, that product, the Symphonym - Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid Headphone/IEM Cable, is the perfect compliment to my Empire Ears Evo Legend IEMs. The IEMs came with a high quality 4mm cable; so I knew had to be selective if I wanted similar performance in 3.5mm. What I got is not similar, it's much better. I know, people will say how much difference can a cable make? The cable makes or breaks the experience for me. I ordered my Null cable with the additional braiding, and it is very sturdy but yet flexible. I don't need anything to keep them from pulling unless I'm doing something very active. Also, the look of the Herringbone braid is so cool. All the boxes are checked...sound quality 10, durability 10 (so far so good), comfort 10, appearance 10. I will be purchasing another cable from Null very soon, just trying to decide which of my headphones to treat to the experience.

Unique cable that may best fit to hybrid and tribrid earbuds !!

I have purchased an 8 wire version of Aoraki II for my VE8, Meister, and Baldr.

For VE8, Aoraki makes it an extremely powerful and gorgeous pair than what expected from its original sound. For Meister, its character still remains but the sound is better balanced and comfortable. For Baldr, Aoraki makes its sound mature and quite attractive.

In conclusion, it appears that Aoraki will be a best partner of hybrid or tribrid earbuds.

Amazing Aoraki Flagship

I got the 8-version one and it turns any music into vintage classic. Soundwise, absolutely enjoyable, the only thing I was concerned about was the lock washer that goes into my Sennheiser IE900, seems like it was a misfit and it kept turning around. It's a minor con, so I might just remove them if it becomes annoying.

The stereo separation and imaging is the best I have heard. Dynamic range and low-end extension produces a tremendously powerful deep sound stage and Aoraki offering a generally warmer overtone. Aoraki 8 Herringbone Braided with Noble K10 universal is really a perfect match. Highly recommended.

Hello. what brand of cable do you use for your wire? and what kind of braid does it have? Teflon or PVC?

Null Audio

We make Aoraki ourselves, by hand in Singapore. Its insulation is PVC.

S
Steven D.

I would like a Symphonym Aoraki MKII Platinum Core Tri-Hybrid cable with 3.5 mm for Focal Stellia and a balanced 4.4mm for the amp connector, plus the herringbone braid.

Is that possible? Thanks

Null Audio

Yes. The Focal Stellia has a 3.5 mm socket on each cup, so choose Dual 3.5 mm under Headphone connection (+USD 20), then 4.4 mm balanced under Stereo connection and the Herringbone 8-braid upgrade.

D
Dan S.

Hi, interested in Aoraki herringbone version.
Is there an additional charge for Rhodium Plated 4.4mm? if so, how much extra?
Thanks in advance.

Null Audio

On Aoraki the 4.4 mm balanced plug is included at no extra cost.
