I have originally intended to do a review only after receiving the customs but my plan for my next purchase has warrant me to do this review much earlier.

Firstly, Null Audio's customer service is top notch. From making sure the Air-con was cool enough on that hot day to making of the ear impression. Everything was smooth and hassle free. This is my 5th pair of CIEM and i could easily say the ear impression was painless and smooth. A really pleasant customer experience sitting on the sofa to audition the ciems.

Sound impression for this review will be based on demo which i tried quite sometime back

CW-L71 PSTS is capable of adjusting the bass and mids. I tried 2 settings mainly and the minimum resistor setting (lowest resistance resistor) and the maximum. (highest resistance resistor) and was immensely captivated by the minimum settings on the demo unit to make the decision to purchase the custom monitors on the spot. Changing resistors actually takes abit of force to pull it out and snugs onto the ciem nice and tight. I will definitely not be worry about losing this resistors due to poor fitting

On minimum settings, the bass was clear and deep and the mids really Intimating at the same time.This setting was more enjoyable for me as compared to the maximum resistor settings which sharply reduce the bass and the mids more laid back. The changes made by the resistors was really great especially on the min and max settings (which rightfully should be the case). I did not pay extra attention to the trebles but the separation and overall tonality was great.

I am looking forward to receive the customs and trying it out with my balanced cables.

Null Audio's great customer service and being the distributor to bring in rare custom brands such as canal works and hidition is a great plus point. Thumbs up!
