Ethos series is the late boomer in the Null Audio family. Design with portability in mind, this cable carries little memory effect and possesses ultra-flexible physical presence rendering it is perfect for use on the go and on stage. Ethos delivers a textured, hi-fidelity sound with its SPC composition, emanating tight, controlled bass and surround-like headroom.
This cable is a special version of Ethos Plus, with a recording level microphone probe, specially designed for pro-gaming.
At Null Audio, we are reluctant to simply define our cables into high-end or entry but a large variety of distinctive designs, material compositions, and binding architectures that performs largely different sonically and ergonomically. This guide is to help you find the perfect synergy with your source and headphone, rather than pursuing the price tags.
Ready in stock: 2pin/3.5mm
For CIEM with ear impression cut of the more flushed fitting, 2 pin connectors might press against cheek causing uncomfortableness. Return is acceptable on such ground (excluding shipping).
For regular cutting CIEM and UIEM, good fitting is most likely guaranteed.
Collections: Classics Line IEM/Headphone Cable
After my stock cables 2pin snap in half inside my CIEMs, I was anxious to get replacement cables and searched for a cable that would let me use my CIEMs for FPS video gaming. I ended up buying two cables from Null Audio. This review is two folded but the 5 stars remain as I believe the company deserves its high praise. In addition I’m judging based on what they are known for which is a high end cable and not their attempt to make something for the gaming community, so please keep that in mind. The computer gaming cable with mic is fairly uncomfortable but was a great attempt to allow usage of CIEMs into computer gaming. There are two flaws worn the cable itself, weighted (on the mic side) unbalance and discomfort. Build quality was also not their strongest for that product. Never the less it is the only solution I found like it in the web. 4/5 stars for being the only one out there.
Now to the real review on my Silver Premium Cables by Null Audio! I will admit I wasn’t a believer that cables made a difference that is audible prior to purchasing premium cables, but once I used these amazing silver cables it’s unquestionable that the sound was different and in a very good way. The build on the cable is amazing, and extremely high quality. From the 2pin barrel style connector to the YSplit all components make you feel like it’s worth it. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and recommend anyone who has very high quality headphones or IEMs to purchase a set from Null Audio.
Great product. I think it needs something a little extra to make it worth the money. A carrying case that came with it (like other NA products) and an included adapter (female to two male) that splits the TRRS signal into headphones and microphone male jacks. I would have preferred a straight jack over a right angle jack, but that's just my preference. NA was kidn enough to include a straight plug adapter after I sent an email about it :) Overall fantastic product, I just wish there were a couple things extra included to make it more worth the money.
The cable is thin which I think helps to reduce weight. I like the L shape plug. The mic can be detached. Overall it is a great and practical cable.
