ASH Universal In-Ear Monitor

Design Story

AAW is known for our exquisite hybrid drive technology, ASH is our latest effort in such ideology of combining the best traits out of dynamic and balanced armature drivers. Instead of creating high order RC crossover network, which usually causes chaotic phase shift and scrambled arrival timing, AAW uses a complete new approach called TrueXrossTM to solve the classic coherence issue in hybrid earphones. The dynamic driver is individually tuned diaphragm wise and by further utilizing a physical low pass filter, it is to only function in minimal overlapping frequency range as opposed to the balanced armature driver. Coupled with delicate positional arrangement and the new stainless steel acoustic bore design, AAW is able to achieve improved coherence, minimized phase shift and optimized arrival timing of music signal.

13mm Graphene Diaphragm Dynamic Driver

ASH features an industrial first 13mm graphene diaphragm driver. Combining its sheer size, and nano grade thinness diaphragm, it offers a unique sound signature not commonly found in regular dynamic drivers. The graphene driver delivers a pronounced, rich and textured mid range, it is so good that we let the dynamic driver handles the bass and lower mid-range, thereafter the six balanced armature drivers only start functioning from upper mid-range onward. Such unique configuration coupled with newly improved TrueXrossTM technology constitute ASH's 4 way crossover system.

Sound Signature

ASH is tuned with a bass maniac‘s wet dream in mind, its 13mm graphene driver offers powerful yet natural sub bass which you will never find in a full balanced armature setup. The dedicated super high balanced armature drivers offer crystal clear details in the vocal and treble range. The treble extension is well controlled to provide a non-fatiguing listening experience. The binaural sound-stage is reproduced as realistic as a pair of full sized headphone.

Suitable for band performances, emerging artists, worship events and anybody who appreciates fine listening experience.

Excellent sound for those who want detail

These earphones are very different from the previous ones I had (triple fi 10 with extra driver turned into customs). The bass is definitely there and sounds really good but it isn't over-emphasized. As usual in this world of people interested in audio, it is hard to come up with the words to describe audio... so I don't mean to sound pretentious or to throw random adjectives around, but I will just describe the sound of these IEMs as "very high-quality, precise, and refined without being showy." In other words, where the triple fi 10 gave you plenty of bass and you went "wow!" but then realized that the bass was unrealistic and muffled other elements of the song, ASH doesn't blow your mind at first but then you find yourself smiling or closing your eyes to enjoy the great presentation of high quality sounds all over the spectrum. Drums especially sound fantastic. The combination of the hi-hat and the bass drum is just really really cool! It demonstrates that ASH can present lows and highs without shyness and keeping the quality. Granted, there are some songs in which the sharpness of the cymbals may be a little too intense. But overall, these are really enjoyable earphones and you know for sure they have great quality capable of revealing everything about your recordings and audio player. Feed them good sources on a good player and you will surely get to know your music in a more profound, intimate, and clear way, give them low-quality content and you will surely feel the need to get better files. Highly recommended!

CHEATERS - Poor product, poor service, didnot come with all accessories

I ordered B-stock ASH & AXH IEMs at 30% discount, which has an MSRP of USD 799 & USD 449 respectively.
1.) While switching the ear tips on the very first day, the stainless mesh on ASH came out. Instead of replacing the IEM piece, they initially offered sending a few stainless meshes, which never arrived.
2.) During A-B comparison, I was astonished to find that there was "absolutely no difference" in the soundstage of ASH (13mm Graphene Driver + 6 x Balanced Armature Driver with Symphonym Tiburon Cable) and AXH (10mm Dynamic Driver + 4 x Balanced Armature Driver with Null Audio Lune Series Detachable Cable).
3.) I then compared with my 20 years old $100 Sony MDR-7506. Apart from lower volume due to higher (63) impedance, again there was no difference.
4.) To be completely unbiased & rule out issues with my hearings, I did blind test with my two daughters. They both have undergone over a decade of Classical Vocal training, play flute, keyboard, and listen to various genre of music like Jazz, Hip hop, K-Pop, Pop, Blues, Rock, Symphonies, etc. Even they couldn't find any significant difference among the 3 IEMs/ headphones.
5.) When I requested to return one of the IEMs, they refused to accept returns inspite of their 14 days return policy.
6.) The 2 IEMs did not come with the Flight or 1/4" adapter, as it is mentioned on their site. When I asked for it, they politely agreed but never fulfilled their promise inspite of 4-5 reminders.

I definitely Do Not recommend their product or their service. Just a bunch of liars & sweet talkers.

It is explicitly stated on the B stock sales page All sales are final, no return or exchange is accepted.
We are sorry to hear that you could not hear any difference between the multiple IEM and headphones, however, that is not our problem.
