Capri – câble IEM USB-C avec DAC Hi-Res

M'avertir lorsque ce produit est disponible :

Loading cable options…

Voir garantie.

The product doesn't work

I ordered this to use with my Samsung Note 10, it didn't work.

I contacted support and they asked for some screenshots of what was happening when I plugged in the cable, which I sent them... they then never responded to me

Works Perfectly With Pixel 3

Picked this up with the "Westone/Noble/Jerry Harvey/AAW 2-Pin CIEMs" option and they fit my Fender IEM Nine/Ten/Thirteen series perfectly. The cable looks great with the bright silver cable and contrasting black connectors and splitter. There is slight cable memory but I think that it is from being in the packaging for a bit and seems like it will loosen up. There are no microphonics and the ear guides are soft but keep their shape. The volume/phone controls and microphone work great with my Pixel 3 right out of the box. The DAC sounds good, gets reasonably loud, and lets me avoid stupid cable dongles now!

Great cable

Great cable works as advertised no bullshit

Disappointed

Waited a whole week for the package to come and when it did, it was the lightning cable model instead of the USB C

Works as advertised but with limitations

Works with android and windows seamlessly. Doesn’t work with iOS as stated on the website, so iPad Pro users are out of luck. The DAC is fine for the price but not the last word in resolution. It didn’t drive my AAW W500 as well as it should, so I think amplification power is a limitation with the Capri.

The sound quality is not improved and sudden load sparkling sound generated

The only 1 good thing about it is the direct USB C connector.
The sound quality is not improved at all compared to factory cord.
1 critical issue I had was about a sudden loud electric sparkling sound generated and hurt my ear.

Well made, but less ecctive.

I like this cable, it's design and quality, but paired with my AAW AXH CIEM's their performance is just good. Clear but just good.

Nice little amp

This amp is warm. Has a basey kick to it. The usbc has been a double edgeed sword for me. On one no more dangle, the the other, however, I cannot charge my phone while listening. Would be awesome if Null can put a 3.5 female between the earbuds connector and the dac.

Decent

A decent all in one solution for IEMs. Had problems with the cable omitting a crackling sound in my ear, but this was on first use. The sound is pretty decent too.

Doesn't sound good, doesn't work well

I have one of these cabled hooked up to 3 BA driver IEM and it's horrendous. I have another of these cables hooked up to 16mm dynamic driver iems and it sounds just acceptable. besides that, the operation of the device isn't that great. I have to use UAPP on android and then phone calls aren't so easy to have work after that.

Pretty Good, Could Be Better

Excellent IEM Cable with USB-C capability which is essential for me as I'm using a Pixel 2 which is extremely iffy about third party usb c peripherals. However, there are moments where the cable causes clipping and digital distortion which shocks me and is definitely annoying. I am unsure if it is a software or a hardware issue so I will withhold blame for now but it is the only drawback of this fantastic cable.

Very Poor Quality DAC, High Quality Construction

I bought this cable to connect my Sennheiser IE80s to my PIxel 2 XL, which has no headphone jack. Looking around it seemed that this was the only option that allowed the earbuds to directly connect to the phone without a dongle. Since Null generally gets good reviews for its cable online, I bought it. After first my first listen I was a little unsure of the sound quality. I've been listening to my Sennheiser IE80s for over 5 years, and I love them. They are great buds for the price. But this new Null Cable setup was delivering a very different sound than I was used to and one that was noticeably worse.

The soundstage was very muddy, as were the mids and trebles, and overall the DAC was delivering a bass-heavy sound. I thought it might be that the cable was mis-positioning the earbuds in my ears, so I tried adjusting that. The poor sound continued. I was hell bent on making this USB-C cable solution work, so I continued to fiddle with the fit of the earbuds and installed a new pair of Comply foam tips. But the poor sound continued. Last night I spent two hours doing A/B testing comparing this Null DAC cable to the stock Sennheiser cable connected to Google's included 3.5mm to USB-C dongle. No matter what I listened to, the Null DAC just sucked. And it's not subtle; it's obvious. Vocals in particular are not separated from other instruments and the highs are so flat.

The construction of the cable is great - on par with what you expect for the price. However, it doesn't matter how well a cable is made if the builtin DAC delivers disappointing sound. I spent over $80 on this, but I have to go back to my original dongle setup. Sorry guys, but this product sucks.

hi jacob, from your description it seems like a polarity or grounding issue. Our team will work with you on the replacement.

Capri USB-C IEM Cable with Hi-Res DAC

M
MunKew (Singapore, SG)
very very good!

I bought these to use with my Samsung S8+ and the AAW A3HProV2 I bought earlier. See my review of the A3H first. Same music and sources. The Capri DAC cable fits perfectly, makes everything clean and simple (no additional DAC, amp or cables) and sounds great. Makes the A3H more dynamic and more forward, though much more closed in. I'll take the dynamism anytime; the tradeoff is totally worth it. Some loss of details compared to external DAC and amp, but quite acceptable for the fuss-free single cable.

Will this be coming back in stock?

Null Audio

The Capri has been discontinued. For a phone or computer without a headphone jack, choose a USB-C plug with a built-in DAC (ALC5686, or ESS9280C for more output) or a Lightning plug under Stereo connection.

J
Jeff T.

Will the mic work with the Pixel 3 for both and Google Assistant?

Null Audio

The Capri has been discontinued. On our current cables, the iOS/Android microphone (+USD 20) works with Android phones, and you can pair it with a USB-C plug for the Pixel 3.
