Ordering

How to order

  1. Open the interconnect configurator.
  2. Choose the wire: copper lines sound warmer and fuller, silver lines more detailed; see our cables by sound.
  3. Set the length, anywhere from 10 cm to 2 m.
  4. Choose the plug for each end. XLR and RCA pairs use two runs of wire, so the wire price for the length is doubled.
  5. Need another plug or length? Ask us.

Questions

Common questions

What is a balanced XLR interconnect?

A cable that carries each channel on its own pair of wires, with 3-pin XLR plugs at both ends. It connects balanced outputs to balanced inputs, such as a DAC to an amp or monitors.

Can I connect my player’s 4.4 mm output to XLR inputs?

Yes, with a 4.4 mm to 3-pin XLR male pair. If your player has a line-out mode, use it, so the volume is set by the amp or speakers.

Why do XLR and RCA pairs cost more?

Each pair uses two runs of wire, one per channel, so the wire price for the length is doubled.

Which wire should I choose?

Match it to your system and taste, or to your IEM cable. All the wires from our IEM cables are offered, from Ethos to Istana.
