AAW AXH 5-Driver Custom In-Ear Monitor is a custom-fit in-ear monitor from AAW (Advanced AcousticWerkes), shaped from your ear impressions or a 3D scan of your ears. We take impressions at our studio in Singapore, and every custom IEM comes with a Null Audio cable.
AAW is known for our exquisite hybrid drive technology, AXH is our latest effort in such ideology of combining the best traits out of dynamic and balanced armature drivers. Instead of creating high order RC crossover network, which usually causes chaotic phase shift and scrambled arrival timing, AAW uses a complete new approach called TrueXrossTM to solve the classic coherence issue in hybrid earphones.
The dynamic driver is individually tuned diaphragm wise and by further utilizing a physical low pass filter, it is to only function in minimal overlapping frequency range as opposed to the balanced armature driver. Coupled with delicate positional arrangement and the new stainless steel acoustic bore design, AAW is able to achieve improved coherence, minimized phase shift and optimized arrival timing of music signal.
AXH is tuned with a balanced sound signature in mind, it offers controlled yet natural sub bass which you will never find in a full balanced armature setup. The dedicated super high balanced armature drivers offer crystal clear details in the vocal and treble range. The treble extension is well controlled to provide a non-fatiguing listening experience. The binaural sound-stage is reproduced as realistic as a pair of full sized headphone.

The AXH has a 1-year warranty. Custom IEMs are made to your ears, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind; quality problems are covered by the warranty. See shipping and returns.

I believe I may have auditioned a pair which had the original treble focused signature (also noticed by another user on reddit). I actually liked the treble signature. The new signature is more neutral which isn’t a bad thing, but the Lune cable included does not follow in the same spirit.
With the Lune mk5 cable, lows and highs are elevated, making the mids and vocals sound slightly recessed. The weight of Lune cable also tugs at your ears while you walk which is annoying. With the Arete cable, it brings everything to a neutral position, making AXH a lot more listenable and enjoyable at all volume levels. I’m starting to enjoy the new AXH with Arete and I suggest all to try out the different cables to see which suits your preference. :)
Worksmanship of AAW is impeccable. My CIEMs came looking great, but suffered from a poor fit probably due to the impressions, but there is a good refit policy to support so that’s fine.
I hope in the future, AAW allows the customers to even custom design their cables. So far in the market the cables are pretty boring (black, silver, bronze. ...)
I believe colourful cables will bring something fresh into these market.

I've had these AXH CIEM's for over a month now so I have a feel for them. Two of my band members bought CIEM's from the US and I thought I would follow suit; but I chose AAW because I thought their 'Dynamic Driver' technology was more advanced and better suited to my listening style (Website quote: "AXH is tuned with a balanced sound signature in mind, it offers controlled yet natural sub bass which you will never find in a full balanced armature setup"). and they were described as being 'tuned' flatter plus they came with the Lune Mk5 cable.
The build quality is very high and the Lune Mk5 cable is very good. Some have said it's heavy, but I personally don't think so. Separate to the product quality, the fit of my in-ears into my ears seems a touch loose. I suspect it's because AAW took so long (11 weeks all up) to use my in-ear moulds that they shrank (dehydrated, dried up).
I play bass in a band; don't buy these in-ear's if you want to use them professionally on stage as a bass player. They get a pass mark as being adequate, but not great! I also do long motorbike rides and I listen to primarily rock music during those rides. Clarity is excellent but they are harsh in the top frequencies. I also bought a Capri USB-C cable with an in-line Hi-Res DAC to plug into my HTC U12+. The volume is only adequately loud enough. When I ride, I plug the Lune Mk5 3.5mm cable into a FIIO BTR-3 Hi-Fi amp and bluetooth it to my HTC. This works very well with very high volume and excellent clarity, but the AXH's are always harsh at high volume.
I am able to compare the AXH directly with Shure SE535 and HTC's generic supplied ear buds. AXH is easily the clearest sound but overall I can't pick the winner when plugged into my HTC and they are not worth SGD$550 more than the HTC ear buds which understandably sound really good in an HTC phone. BTW, I'm only comparing sound quality here, nothing else.

Good quality and affordable 5-driver hybrid custom made earphone. Recommended to people who want to try how CM feels like.
Upgraded from my CIEM A3H Pro, I'm very satisfied with my AXH.
The fit is great and they seem to be robust
About the sound, I would say it's neutral, with a litlle warmish side, due to the bass rumble ans the impact of the dynamic driver. The highs are smooth and non agressives. The soudstage is also great.
According to me, this CIEM paire well with detailled and neutral DAPs.
