IEM Reshell Service by AAW · Custom Shells for Your IEMs

When my triplefi iem's broke I didn't know what to do with them, they sounded really nice with comply foam tips and an upgraded null audio cable, so I thought I could fix them myself... But nope, there was no way to glue them back together so I put them away. I found them again last year, and this time I got my ears molded and sent them for reshelling. They are back, and better than ever! The fir is perfect, the sound is even better than when they were new (including the NA cable and comply tips)! I upgraded the cable so the monitors now look fantastic and sounds amazing!
Sending and receiving them with FedEx was a breeze, everything was taken care of.

I did a reshell of JH. It feels like I got a brand new IEM.

The reshell custom A3H+Lux had a perfect fit to the ears. There is no need to keep adjusting to the ear tips for good fit. The customised A3H+ Lux provides excellent and consistent sound isolation. The good seal gives better bass response and also consistent overall sound quality. I like it very much.

Null did an awesome job with the reshell of my W60’s. Solid work and what a big difference using these acrylic molds instead of foam inserts, great job Null!

I sent in my Shure SE846’s to be re-shelled (custom molded) and they were sent back to me perfectly. Perfect fit, exactly what I ordered, and the craftsmanship is superb. Your engineers are exceptional. Thank you to you and your team and you have a customer for life!

I love my Nobles, but after a few years the universal shells (as beautiful as they are) were looking pretty shabby. I also had long noticed that, for my ears at least, bass response was significantly stronger when I pressed on the IEMs with a finger, as if the shells were radiating much of the power into the ether. This was NOT a function of the seal. I did not experience this, for example, with my Fiio FH7s with the same tips.

The work by AAW was first rate. And, to my delight, the bass has been greatly improved. No need to hold the IEMs firmly in place to get rumble and impact.

My only minor issue is that the acrylic used has a significantly redder tint than expected. Perhaps just a function of my monitor's color temperature. See the pics below - the ones I received (cabled) and the mock-up from NA's site. Still, 5 star product and 5 star service.

Reshelled an AAW W900. Quality of this reshell is fantastic! Unfortunately I had to get multiple refits for my left ear as the fit was not good, but the staff at the shop was very patient and helped me through the entire process! Thank you so much!

My pair of 4 driver Noble Audio N4s sound just as clear and as big as I remember. The new cable is a tight fit and the moulds fit perfectly. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout! I definitely will be doing business with these guys again soon.

I sent my UE TF10 IEMs to Null Audio for a reshell service along with my in ear moulds, and received them back withing about 8 weeks. Communication with Null was good via email. I was not expecting such a high quality package. The parcel contained a high quality package, with all the contents in a material carry case. The case contained the left & right IEMs, a black twisted audio cable, carry pouch, microfibre cloth, airplane adapter, 6.3mm socket adapter, cleaning brush, and a AAW membership card. The IEMs themselves have an exceptional finish, and fit well. The sound quality is great so far. I use them in 2 configurations. Wired via Dragonfly Red usb DAC with my Pixel 4 XL phone, with USB Audio Player PRO app, which provides upto 24bit lossless playback of FLAC files. Sound quality is excellent here with great sound stage separation, bass response is punchy, strong mids, clear highs. Isolation is very good as expected, as the custom moulded shell fits exactly into each ear perfectly. I also use in a wireless configuration, with the Fostex TM-2 true wireless kit. The sound is not quite as good, as the max codec is AptX which is 16bit 356kbps playback. It's good enough though, for the portability, it offers great flexibility in many scenarios. Overall I am very pleased with the service and end product, I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a higher end universal IEM, to take your earphone to another level.

Fit overall good, though at first a bit painful when put on and take out the earphones., sounds good after changing to a better cable. service very good.

This was my first time using Null-Audio/AAW for their reshelling service, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Null-Audio and AAW did an awesome job on reshelling a pair of used JH Audio JH13v2's to fit my own ears. With 8 drivers per side and my own small ear impressions to work with, AAW had difficult task. They went through several iterations to make sure both the sound signature and the cosmetic look of my earphones were perfect before they put their names on the final product. The result was spectacular: precious little pieces of art that fit my ears perfectly and sound sublime. Hats off to both Null Audio and AAW for their technical expertise, their craftsmanship, and their high standards.

I received this IEM 3 weeks ago. Its sound is purely fantastic. Sound signature is quite coherent and detailed, but absolutely inoffensive.

Fit was perfect, but the acrylic shell wasn't molded well on one side. The speaker canals weren't fully covered, so the centre part is just exposed rubber tubing I can prod with a fingernail. Sent it back for repair, and got it back 3 or 4 weeks later with what looked like varnish over the exposed part. Asked the staff what it was, and she said it was the same material as the rest of the shell. So I took her word for it and left it at that.

About a week later, I'm cleaning it again, and the repair flaked off. It was just varnish after all. Honestly, a small defect like this would be fine if it was a $100+ item, but it cost me $300+. I've decided not to send it in for any further work since it's just going to be varnish, but I'm very disappointed.

I have been using my Ultimate Ears Tripple.Fi 10 for years and now I have them reshelled. From order to the message of shipment was 10 weeks and then 3 weeks until receipt. So I was very curious about the end result. Well, I can now say that the waiting is worth it and that I am pleasantly surprised. The quality and finish are great. But more importantly, the sound quality is even better than the original. The in-ear monitors fit much better, which benefits the sound. The result is a better balance between low, middle and high. The ear impressions were done professionally and they fit perfectly. The shells and faceplates are beautiful; amazing craftsmanship! Sound has notably improved as well, particularly the bass. Highly recommend this if you're looking to convert your universal iems to customs!
