    Not working.

Arrived today and a few days to travel across the entirety of Europe of what I'd consider promptly, but with one issue. I have it plugged in right now to my FLAC player, it doesn't work. I tried it with my phone, it plays for around a second before switching to phone speakers.

No problem, I thought to myself. It's a gaming peripheral, so it will work for console. So I plugged it into my PS5 controller and- nothing. Perhaps the PS5 has yet to receive an update to recognize certain cables like the PS4. So I boot up my trust Ps4, plugin into the controller and still, nothing.
So I ask my neighbor if I can try it with his Xbox One, yeah, as expected at this point, nothing.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the product itself, or the rough handling of couriers.

On the other hand, it arrived as a premium unboxing experience with a pleasing to the touch outter cardboard shell, complete with a leather wallet containing the product itself.
    A nice touch, I thought.

    Great mic, decent cable, ...

overall, it's all of sufficient quality and seems to be durable materials, but there is certainly one rather large glaring flaw with this design. look at piece that the microphone interfaces with. that 2-pin connector right there gets twisted in a knot because of the leverage of the mic's boom. within a short period of time, the rearmost pin will be destroyed if you don't reinforce this with a splint or some pretty sturdy glue. the mic is really fantastic though. you should still buy it. it should just come with superglue.

    Glad this exists

Does the job for the price point. Can improve the mic with post processing. No noticeable noise for when used with the sound blaster g6. Only mic combo I found in the market so I recommend for anyone using IEMs for gaming.

This product is GREAT! People on console and PC voice chats have told me my audio sounds MUCH cleaner than they've EVER heard. Gathered opinion: the audio sounded better than my HyperX Quadcast desk mic

    Good mic for gaming.

I mainly use this Mic cable with my Titan S for discord on PC and PS5. Overall its not bad, it gets the job done for what i need it for.

    The idea is grand

The microphone quality seems to be totally fine, my mates didn't complain about quality issues there.

As mentioned in other reviews however, the cable is quite unbalanced, and with my Tripowin x HBB Meles, the cable pulls itself out of the IEM every once in a while. That is only an issue on the side with the microphone though, which is quite a heavy component to be hanging from one's ear. I never use neck sliders on earphone cables, but I definitely do with this one.

The issue is that your microphone input will be gone long before your audio output is, so there is often a timeframe where your still hear audio, but your mates won't hear you. Kind of frustrating, and I've already grown into the habit of checking the connection whenever I have the opportunity.

I've noticed that the 0.78mm on the original tripowin cable are longer than the pins on this cable, so maybe the pins should be elongated in newer revisions to provide a stronger connection.

I am however really glad that I don't have to wear my huge Sennheiser GSP500 around my neck, just for microphone input, so overall I'm quite happy with the purchase.

The build quality of the cable is fine, not as nice as some of the custom cables I have lying around, but I haven't noticed any cable microphonics and the cable isn't too stiff or holds its shape, so I don't really mind. Totally reasonable for plugging in and forgetting about in-game. Although I would have preferred a straight 3.5 TRRS plug.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the purchase, because wearing over ears for gaming has been heating up my ears uncomfortably, and I much prefer in ears for gaming anyways (so does my girlfriend, who won't have to hear my in-game audio through my open back headset anymore). However I wonder whether IEMs with recessed 0.78mm jacks are better suited than my flat tripowins, because it will give the plugs on the cable something to grip on when the mic becomes too heavy. Maybe some self- fusing silicone tape around the connector stems for better grip? Already playing with ideas in my head for whenever my Moondrop Katos arrive.

So this unfortunately isn't a perfect product, but tinkering with accessories is kind of fun in itself, and I have good hopes that one can get his setup working with this cable provided one is willing to put a little bit of work and thought into it.

So I recommend it, because there really is only one comparable cable to this on the market, and the idea is absolutely amazing. Maybe just needs a revision or two to be perfect (a lighter microphone that doesn't have a metal housing would go a loooong way!)

    Uncomfortable

The large plastic nobs at the end of the pins pinch into my skin uncomfortably. The microphone looks silly.

    Favorite Mic so far

Use this every day to make calls mainly and it's very competent. Sensitivity is very good, clean sound.

An overall good cable for its price

Great functionality with the removable mic and the abillity to plug into most of IEM's on the market. This cable gets a solid 4/5 from me 👍
Only con I can say is that the cable seems to have some memory to it and twists a bit, but it is relatively versatile when handling.

Pretty okay cheap cable for teleconferencing.

Yea the cable works when I need to do teleconferencing but when you listen to audio, it’s noticeably softer on the side where the mic is (right side).

A great accessory for 2pin iems.

This cable allows me to game with my iems, and it works great for that purpose. The microphone quality is decent but lacks background noise filter. You may need a 3rd party app to do that.

I bought it for my online classes at university, and it is quite good. I hope they will release mmcx models in the future.

I own its previous version and these cables have one big flaw: the mic is too close to your face and it forces iem to fall out.
Clearly no change in 2pin connector so the same flaw in its new version

    Excellently made cables

After my stock cables 2pin snap in half inside my CIEMs, I was anxious to get replacement cables and searched for a cable that would let me use my CIEMs for FPS video gaming. I ended up buying two cables from Null Audio. This review is two folded but the 5 stars remain as I believe the company deserves its high praise. In addition I’m judging based on what they are known for which is a high end cable and not their attempt to make something for the gaming community, so please keep that in mind. The computer gaming cable with mic is fairly uncomfortable but was a great attempt to allow usage of CIEMs into computer gaming. There are two flaws worn the cable itself, weighted (on the mic side) unbalance and discomfort. Build quality was also not their strongest for that product. Never the less it is the only solution I found like it in the web. 4/5 stars for being the only one out there.

Now to the real review on my Silver Premium Cables by Null Audio! I will admit I wasn’t a believer that cables made a difference that is audible prior to purchasing premium cables, but once I used these amazing silver cables it’s unquestionable that the sound was different and in a very good way. The build on the cable is amazing, and extremely high quality. From the 2pin barrel style connector to the YSplit all components make you feel like it’s worth it. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and recommend anyone who has very high quality headphones or IEMs to purchase a set from Null Audio.

    Love it

Great product. I think it needs something a little extra to make it worth the money. A carrying case that came with it (like other NA products) and an included adapter (female to two male) that splits the TRRS signal into headphones and microphone male jacks. I would have preferred a straight jack over a right angle jack, but that's just my preference. NA was kidn enough to include a straight plug adapter after I sent an email about it :) Overall fantastic product, I just wish there were a couple things extra included to make it more worth the money.

Cable quality is great, mic too sensitive

Cable quality is great, however, my IEMs do not have recessed sockets so this cable sometimes falls off my IEM. Was using this on discord with a friend who also commented that the microphone is extremely soft and sensitive (picks up even the smallest background sounds), despite me using an amp and turning up microphone loudness in windows or even turning on noise reduction. Perhaps some people will love this sensitivity?

Mic Doesn't work with xbox controller.

PRO GAMING MIC that doesn't work with a GAMING CONTROLLER. Is this some kind of joke ? I bought this to use with my Xbox so I can have clear sound of a iem and mic for voice chat. Mic doesn't work at all. Will be returning. What's the point of making a pro gaming cable if it doesn't work with gaming consoles? 80% of people play on console. Was looking forward to this only to have it not work with my controller

Hi Reuben, we will be including an Xbox adapter to use with its controller as Xbox 3.5mm receptacle follows a different protocol. Do contact us if you still have not received one from us.

    Great cable for gaming

The cable is thin which I think helps to reduce weight. I like the L shape plug. The mic can be detached. Overall it is a great and practical cable.

It's a pleasant cable to use. Addition of the mic is useful for when you need to speak without using laptop microphone which can pick up typing sounds.

Can this be used for Moondrop Aria IEM?

    Null Audio

Yes. The Moondrop Aria uses 0.78 mm 2-pin sockets. Choose Standard 2-pin (0.78 mm) under Headphone connection. It fits both recessed and flat 2-pin sockets.
