cable of good quality. It looks resistant to wear and tear, time will tell, so far it can only be judged by appearance. I can’t say anything specifically about the DAC since there is nothing to compare so far. the sound is juicy. Four stars because I have some personal issues about cable but it is still very good with discount sale price. thanks a lot ;-)

I sent a response regarding my cables about two and a half weeks ago. It was acknowledged as received and I was waiting for a response but never heard back. Basically, the version of cable I was told to order does not work with my IEMs. I sent a pdf with images explaining the issue in detail. I will try again.

I had high hopes for this cable when I first saw it via null audio website. Took the plunge and ordered it.

I like the fact that it is future proof if hi res audio becomes more affordable.

The sound clarity and separation on my Noble Encore sounds great and I love it!

The only gripe I have is the floor noise as the Encore is quite a sensitive IEM and the hissing is very obvious during the quieter passages of a song.

I hope the AAW guys can allow an option via firmware update to have "Low gain" switch so that the hissing level can be brought down by few notches.

The Low gain makes sense as my usual listening level never goes beyond 4 out of 16 levels on the iphone. This means it has tremendous power and a Low gain not just will bring the hissing level down, it will also allow a more precise control of the volume for sensitive IEMs like the Nobles.

Kudos to AAW guys for the innovative and enjoyable product. If the above suggestion can be implemented, I will without a doubt bump this review to 5 star :star:️ :star:️:star:️:star:️:star:️

I got the cable with the R side dead. Called Null Audio 2 or 3 times and tried sending a message with no answer. I thought it might have been an app issue (upgrade), but the app is next to impossible to find here in the US and the Null Audio guys have not gotten back to me after more than 3 weeks of me pleading for help.

There is a hiss sound, which i didn’t expect.
Also, i can’t download the app to eventually check an update, it doesn’t exist in my region.

Order arrived on same day of order - best-in-class delivery speed. Ordered two as a replacement for an existing Capri cable, as the audio input for the mic was bad on calls, and thought it was due to wear-and-tear. Unfortunately, new cables are still performing poorly in this aspect. But if you are using this Capri cable purely for listening, highly recommended. If you take calls, would suggest looking elsewhere.

Customer service from Null Audio also appears lacking. Have emailed them twice over the past 2-3 weeks about the audio input issues, and refund policies, but not a response or even an acknowledgement of receipt.

Opened the image with the FiiO. The bass was impressive, distinctive and musical while keeping the individual notes discreet - though the midrange was a bit recessed. Lower mids were still well integrated with the upper bass. Treble was much improved and lacked any harshness. Overall a lovely uncoloured sound, good imaging- although the overall “front to back” perspective was not as much as I expected but I am sure Null Audio is working towards a better product at the same price:))

Great cable with good durability, sound quality is very good for the price. Extremely convenient for any iPhone users

This sounds wayyyy better than the original adapter Apple provides. More pronounced bass, mids became noticeable once again, and treble...I’m not a treble guy, so I can’t comment on that. I regretted buying the original adapter, waste of money. Stick with this, u won’t go wrong on this one..

They changed the beloved angled connectors for some metallic straight ones without notice and didn’t update pictures to reflect them.
Contacted them and was denied a replacement.
Beside that, these cables (DAC) delivers muffled highs with Shure se846 but once EQ’ed these are great upgrade from Apple’s DAC adapter.
Finger crossed in term of futur firmware updated via the App..

But my iem was not on the list, so I picked a similar one, but it didn't fit well. I'd like to add canalworks to the list.

The web store order is smooth and the delivery is fast. The product is good and fit for my IEM but the remote is a little bit large from expectation.

This lightning cable says it will output 192kHz 24bit, but I can't get it to output anything over 48kHz 24bit no matter the source file or app. Customer support hasn't been able to help me despite their best efforts. Very disappointed.

Product arrived very quickly, and works great. The IPX connectors are a perfect fit on my UE IEMs, and the sound from the DAC has great depth. The mic is good for phone calls and having controls on the cable is very handy. Definitely recommended.

The Capri Balanced Digital Earphone Cable with Hi-Res DAC, once it worked, is great, excellent sound and works perfectly. Unfortunately, getting there was very difficult; the Capri DIgital Audio App, which launches automatically, was both frustrating and useless (see reviews online going back to at least 10/2018); it wold not finish updating, and the cable did not work After multiple tries & deinstalls/reinstalls and emails (unanswered) to AAW, Null finally made some decent suggestions about how best to make it work, and now it does. I wold lke to say thant it was worth the wait, but the software issue, which is clearly far from new, is a major problem. I would have given 5 stars if not for that, and I considered giving only 2, because of it.

DAC is higher quality than the Apple dongle. The sleeved cable is durable and won’t tangle. Playback controls and microphone are great perks also. I like the molded earhook. No regrets here! Tested on Fiio FA7 with MMCX connector.

Cable is very light and easy to carry around. the mic is also much clearer when I speak into it. Lunar cable had a mild static sound that was gone when I changed to this cable.

Had a set of headphone that wasnt on the list and they were good to work with on the required modifications

I love the sound quality of this product, however I have had a few fail.

The Sennheiser IE80s are great headphones, but only come with an analog connector. Null Audio's Lightning cable for the iPhone contains a better DAC than Apple's Dongle and is a much nicer Quality than the original cables. 100% recommended.
