AAW A3H+ LUX Triple Driver Hybrid Custom In-Ear Monitor is a custom-fit in-ear monitor from AAW (Advanced AcousticWerkes), shaped from your ear impressions or a 3D scan of your ears. We take impressions at our studio in Singapore, and every custom IEM comes with a Null Audio cable.
Featuring a brand-new digitally designed aluminum enclosure, A3H+ Lux Edition is tuned with a vigorous and lively sound signature in mind, it offers natural sub-bass, which you will never find in a full, balanced armature setup. The dedicated NOVATM driver offers crystal clear details in the vocal and treble range. The treble extension is well controlled to provide a non-fatiguing listening experience.
In this hybrid structure, we choose to use a specially designed armature driver with an open front acoustic vent and embedded it deep into the A3H+'s 3d printed nozzle. The proximity to the user eardrum will eliminate sound pressure decay and any unwanted resonance in a typical tubed balanced armature design.
A3H+ Lux Edition packs 4 distinctive sound signatures and offers listener the option to switch between them by using a discrete switch. Such flexibility and all-around performance enable A3H+ Lux to meet the most critical listener’s preference over different music genres.
The brand-new graphene dynamic driver has an ultra-thin and rigid film diaphragm made of graphene material. By further utilizing a physical low pass filter, it is to the only function in minimal overlapping frequency range as opposed to the balanced armature drivers. Coupled with a delicate positional arrangement and the new 3d printed acoustic chamber design, AAW can achieve improved coherence, minimize phase shift, and optimize the arrival timing of music signal.

The A3H+ LUX has a 1-year warranty. Custom IEMs are made to your ears, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind; quality problems are covered by the warranty. See shipping and returns.
Custom IEMs are built to order and made in about 4 weeks after we receive your ear impressions or scan.
A3H+ Lux CIEM was an excellent choice in that price range. These are hidden gems, and can out perform some of the well know brands. The custom shell and fit took approximately 8 weeks to complete, and around 4 days to receive in the USA.
The A3H+ Lux sound can bounce between 'neutral/cold' and 'neutral/warm' depending on the media you are listening to. It has an impressive low end, crisp vocals/mids and highs. All detailed and articulate.
The bass is punchy with emphasis on the mid bass as opposed to Sub Bass/Deep Bass (IMO). The bass hits nicely and powerful. it's crisp and accentuates the track without mudding the mids or vocals.
The soundstage is airy and a bit narrow, which for me is perfect. I find that too much air can result in a hollow sounding experience with some distortion. The vocals are clear and detailed. I would say that the
A3H+ Lux has a V shaped sound signature, balanced and accurate.
These have a spectacular three-dimensional sense of separation. Meaning... you can hear every instrument being played as it moves all around you while separate from the mids/vocals.
The A3H+ Lux also comes with 4 signature sound settings that you can adjust to your liking. (Vocal, Normal, Vocal +, and Bass)
*This IEM does not do well with bass boosted tracks. If you prefer majority of bass boosted music, these aren't the ears for you.
The A3H+ Lux is a versatile IEM.. meaning - (depending on your DAPs power/ and settings) you can tweak the vocals by moving them to the front of the soundstage or bring the vocals to the middle of the soundstage and let the music encase the vocals.
*CONS -
SubBass /Mid Bass is great, but I wish they would hit a little harder in the deep bass range. I have yet to find an IEM that can successfully pull it off.
A side note to AAW- please make an IEM that can render rumbling Deep bass while maintaining that wonderful upper/mids/vocal clarity.

Just got mine yesterday. Perfect fit and really PRO sound. Seems that I got a free update to the ETHOS 5N cable as well. Don't know if the A3H Pro comes with this cable all the time or I was just lucky. Anyway, good product, worth the price and the wait.
I had a chance to demo the unit along with some of their other offerings at their office, and the A3H+ Lux was the best sound quality to price for me.
I got my impressions done in their office, which was very quick and easy.
They took about 9 weeks from purchase date to when I got them at my doorstep in the US. (~8 weeks to make, then 5 days to ship to my doorstep)
I use them in a live stage setting, and the fit and seal of a custom mold made it a much better experience compared to my universals in ear monitors.
Having the ability to change sound signatures with the small switches on the IEM was a big positive.
I got the carbon fiber faceplates and they look great!
Overall, these are great CIEMs for those who are just getting into custom in ears monitors, and can't set aside the budget for the larger name brands or the higher end models from AAW.
There are a lot of designs to choose from and it makes it so easy to customize to one that you like. On top of that, there are 4 different eq settings for your perusal. Sound quality is amazing. Fitting is perfect.
Great craftsmanship, I own other IEMs and AAWs are at the top as far as precision and build is concerned. Middle and high frequencies are slightly more pronounced, so EQ needs to be applied for my taste other people may prefer it the way they are. All in all great value for money.
Ordered it and did my ear impressions at the store. Item was slightly delayed due to CNY holiday but it came in a nice package with accessories.
Had to send one side of the IEM for a refit and retuning, hopeful everything will turn out well when I get it back.
A3H offers the best balance in terms of frequency response , awesome clarity without being harsh. It's very musical and engaging. It's finely tuned as a very resolving stage monitor. Would highly recommend it to any professional looking for the best sound and texture. I've compared it to much more expensive and fancy IEM and A3H scores higher for it's perfectly balanced sound that's not artificial or metallic like most BA based models, at any price range. Solid 5 stars for this outstanding monitor!

Good soun but lacks a little bass
The customs are fantastic. Superb sound quality with not much to complain about. However, customer service needs work. I've messaged a few times about sound unbalance issue and requested for alternatives if I cannot make it down to the store after work. No response on that.

good CIEM, fitting and value for money. highly recommend for entry level user.
In all its a pretty well balanced sound, good clarity, although the high mids are slightly coloured and not "sterile".
Good fit, the customer service is smooth and all in all a great product
Overall sound is good, much better than the IEM I was using before (shure se215). Noise isolation and fit of the CIEM is good. Recommended for starting CIEM
It perfectly fits in my ear loop. Noise cancel was perfect. The sound was great. Worth waiting.
Purchased for Massdrop Plus IEM The cable itself is great. Good build quality and it makes my IEM??s sound even better than the stock cable. My only complaint is that i wish the volume buttons were a bit bigger for me to tell the difference between them and the pause button.

Took awhile for the CIEM to be ready. Stock cable that comes along does not seem to be able to bring out the max potential of this CIEM. Will be getting an upgrade cable with Null Audio!
