How to Order Custom IEMs
A custom in-ear monitor (CIEM) has a shell moulded to the exact shape of your ears, so it seals better and stays comfortable for hours. We build AAW custom IEMs from your ear impressions. In Singapore we take the impressions at our studio, and from anywhere else you can send us 3D scans.

How to order
- Order your model online or at our studio.
- Get your ear impressions taken, or have your ears scanned (see below).
- Bring or send us the impressions, or email the scan files with your order number.
- We build your monitors in about 4 weeks after we receive your ear impressions or scan. Reshells take 6–8 weeks. Need it sooner? Our express service makes a custom IEM in about 3 weeks for SGD 200 in Singapore or USD 150 overseas, on top of the IEM price. It is non-refundable and not available during Chinese New Year. Email sales@null-audio.com to add it.
- Collect them at our studio or we ship them to you.
Ear impressions in Singapore
We take ear impressions at our studio for SGD 50. It takes 10–20 minutes. Please book an appointment first by WhatsApp at +65 8731 5476 or by email at sales@null-audio.com, and clean your ears beforehand for the best result.

You don't need to post anything. We accept STL files from either kind of scan:
- A scan of physical ear impressions, taken by an audiologist and then scanned.
- A direct scan of your ear canals, made with a 3D ear scanner.
Email the files with your order number to support@null-audio.com. Please make sure that:
- there is one STL file per ear, named left and right;
- each scan goes past the second bend of the ear canal and includes the whole concha (the bowl of the outer ear);
- the impressions were taken with the mouth open (a bite block), so the fit holds when you talk or sing.

Prefer to post physical impressions? Pack them in a protective container with a copy of your order confirmation, ship them with tracking to the address above (Attn: Lab Team), and declare them under USD 200 (see Shipping & Return).
Your cable
Every custom IEM comes with a Null Audio cable. When you order, you can upgrade to a higher-tier cable from our range. AAW customs use recessed 2-pin sockets; see cables for AAW for what fits.
Refit, warranty and returns
- Free refit within 30 days of delivery if the fit isn't right. For overseas orders, return shipping is charged separately.
- 1-year warranty on the IEM and its cable. See Warranty, including flat-rate repairs after that.
- Because each CIEM is made for your ears only, custom IEMs can't be returned for change of mind. Defects are always covered by the warranty.
