Accessport Audio & Charge Headphone Amplifier for iPhone

Although I have a Capri DAC with Shure 535 Earphones, I wanted to try the “listen and charge” device. Now I can say this seems to sound even better than the Capri.

Have dozens of IEM cables, but Null Tiburon cable is something special! I have the 8 braid, and it is epic in just about every way. I have been trying it against my other cables, and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. DEEP sounds, and they sound above and behind. It's literally incredible.

It works well. The metal part on lighting plug may wear-off after many times of plug m-and-unplug in few years. It cannot block the noise from the computer/power supply when it’s charging simultaneously.

Provides enough power for my 60 ohm headphones.

Im I’m pressed with the finish of it and makes any audio signal a fantastic one!!

Why would you ask me to review this purchase, when you only sent me one of the two items I ordered? On top of that, I have received no response from my email notifying you of the problem. In addition, I have not tested it much, however, I don’t think the Accessport you did send me works properly! If you want a good review then respond!

Quality DAC without external batteries and allows you to charge your phone at the same time!

Works fine. Able to charge and listen to music at the same time. Hopefully this time round the cable connector doesn’t become intermittent after a couple of months.

I bought 2 of this back when they started crowdfunding. Very handy tool especially for iDevice owners. Use this mostly in the vehicle. However, it would be good if they can somehow incorporate handsfree speaker mode when answering calls. I have to switch to handphone speaker mode when answering call now

Does it what it says on the tin functionality wise (charge and listen to music at the same time). In terms of sound quality, it is significantly better than what I get out of a standard mobile device and better than most entry DAPs.

Sufficiently powers my iems such that i cut volume 3 notches, however an theres an audible difference should you charge at the same time

A definite sound upgrade from your standard phone audio.
Previously I had more of a hi-mid push and just ok bass response, with the Accessport I noticed the low-mids come alive and there was a noticeable bass response, tight and not flubby. There was also a clarity that made the volume need to go up and perception that the volume was lower than before, but taking the earphones off was the realisation that the volume was in fact louder.
The design is perhaps the one drawback, if you're moving around with the phone in your pocket and need to access your phone or change songs etc as the cord does seem a bit flimsy, time will tell.
There is an app in the Appstore, but doesn't recognise the device...
The next step up is at least 3x the price, so I think it's a pretty good deal.

Audio quality is great and I can finally charge my phone while I listen!

Definite upgrade over the standard Apple Lightning to 3.5mm dongle to ensure great music quality out of your iphones.

I really like this Accessport Audio & Charge headphone amplifier; it delivers great sound at a modest price. My only complaint is that I have had some difficulty inserting the headphone cable properly: a channel cuts out if I don’t place the male headphone piece in exactly the right position.

Hi, i got this product from kickstarter. recently it just cant work anymore. i can still charge my phone, but the 3.5mm jack is not working. and when i use the app it says it is not connected. and apple will prompt that it is an accessory not supported.

The device has a nice velvety touch and very lightweight. It works as advertised, but would be great if AAW can solve the pop sounds when connecting earphones/headphones.

Sound wise, there is audible bass boost and ‘concert hall’ filter applied for the additional punch and width/depth.

Looking forward to a sound profile switcher in the app for neutral signature!

improve sound and power to drive headphone

Improve overall sound quality . Bright sound and lively sound love it!
But build quality can be better like the plastic housing as the plastic can degrade overtime.

But still, good deal for $50.
