IEM Sockets are replacement earphone-side sockets for DIY IEM builds and repairs, sold per pair. Choose a flat 0.78 mm 2-pin, recessed 0.78 mm 2-pin or MMCX socket. They are for builders and repairers who need to fit or replace the socket in an IEM shell.

Can this help me connect a non-recessed 2-pin cable to a recessed IEM socket? Or is it more a replacement for the entire socket?

Null Audio

These are replacement sockets: they replace the socket in the IEM shell; they are not adapters. Our cables' standard 0.78 mm 2-pin plug fits both recessed and flat 2-pin sockets anyway.

the stock cable of recessed 2pin IEM usually works with flat 2pin IEM. or we could build a cable directly for flat 2pin IEM. however no adapter.
