The ViaBlue T6s is a 3.5 mm stereo plug for DIY cable builds, with 24 karat gold-plated bronze contact pins and an aluminium shell, sold per piece. It suits builders making headphone or IEM cables, and two included diameter reducers give firm strain relief on cables from 1.5 to 6.0 mm.
Price per piece.
ViaBlue T6s phono 3.5 stereo plugs have contact pins made of bronze which are 24 carat gold-plated. The shells are made of aluminum. Cables up to 9.5 mm diameters can be installed. All connectors of the T6s series are supplied including two diameter decreasers. Those diameter decreasers make an assembly of cables with small and big diameter possible and grant a firm strain relief.
For the assembly the stripped cable ends are soldered at the contact parts of the T6s plugs. The contact part can be removed completely from the plug's shell. The M4 screw serves as strain relief. The shell for all plugs (exception: XLR plugs) of the ViaBlue T6s series is identical. Only the contact parts change.
Each T6s plug contains two diameter decreasers which serve for a firm strain relief and centric adjustment of the cables. Thus cables with an outter diameter of 1.5 mm up to 6.0 mm can be fixed firmly. Without using any diameter decreaser cables up to 6.0 mm can be installed.
Cables from 1.5 to 6.0 mm outer diameter, held centred and firm by the two included diameter reducers. Cables up to 6.0 mm also fit without a reducer.
The stripped cable ends are soldered to the contact part, which comes out of the shell completely. An M4 screw provides strain relief, and the screws take a 1.5 mm hex key.
It is 38.5 mm long with a maximum outer diameter of 9.0 mm, and it is RoHS conform.
It is in stock and ships in 2 to 3 working days.
