Nylith

Woven to be forgotten.

The name joins nylon to -lith, the Greek for stone: a woven skin that feels like fabric, over a core of fine-drawn copper. Nylith is made for full-size headphones and the desk they live on, and at 35 g it is the last thing you notice.

Construction

5N UP-OCC Copper

Each conductor is 5N (99.999%) UP-OCC copper. Ohno continuous casting draws the copper into long, continuous crystals, so the signal crosses fewer grain boundaries along the way.

Sixty strands of that copper make up each conductor, for 24 AWG.

Sleeve

Nylon You Can Feel

Nylith is sleeved by hand in black nylon multifilament, close-woven and soft to the touch. It drapes like fabric rather than springing back like rubber, and the black stays looking clean on the desk.

The Standard build wears a 4 mm sleeve on the main run and 2.4 mm on each leg after the Y-split. The Braided build takes two 2.4 mm nylon-sleeved leads and braids them from end to end, for USD 10 more.

Made for the Desk

Nylith comes at 1.5 m as standard, an easy reach from your headphones to an amp or DAC on the desk. Set any length from 50 cm to 3 m in the configurator.

Sound Guide

Nylith is copper through and through: warm, with full mids and bass that has body. The treble is smooth rather than bright, so long sessions stay easy.

Caring for Your Cable

Coil it loosely in large loops and keep it in the included leather pouch when you’re on the move.

Unplug by holding the connector, not the cable, and avoid sharp bends right at the plugs.

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it away from solvents and alcohol-based cleaners.

Every cable has a 1-year warranty. If anything goes wrong, contact us and we’ll take care of it.

How long until it ships?

Every Nylith is built to order by hand in Singapore. Lead time is around 1 week.

What if it doesn’t fit my headphones?

The plug is matched to the headphones listed on this page. If the cable doesn’t fit the headphones you chose, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll make a new one free, shipping included.

What does USD 59 include?

A 1.5 m Nylith with your headphone connector and a 3.5 mm, 4.4 mm or 6.35 mm player plug. The Braided build adds USD 10, LEMO and Dan Clark connectors add USD 50, and a longer cable costs more; the configurator shows the price before you add to cart.

Standard or Braided?

Both use the same copper and the same black nylon. Standard has a 4 mm sleeve on the main run and 2.4 mm on each leg after the Y-split; it is the lighter and softer of the two. Braided twists two 2.4 mm nylon-sleeved leads together from end to end, for a round, plaited look all the way along. Braided costs USD 10 more.

What is UP-OCC copper?

UP-OCC is copper made by Ohno continuous casting, which draws it into long, continuous crystals instead of many small grains. The signal crosses fewer grain boundaries along the way. Nylith uses 5N (99.999%) UP-OCC copper.

How is a Nylith conductor built?

Each conductor is 60 strands of 5N UP-OCC copper, for 24 AWG.

Can I get a different length?

Yes. Choose Cable length in the configurator above: set any length from 50 cm to 3 m in 2 cm steps. Up to the standard 1.5 m costs nothing extra; longer cables cost more, and the price is shown before you add to cart.

Does Nylith work with in-ear monitors?

No. Nylith is made for full-size headphones only, with no in-ear monitor connectors.

What is the return policy?

Standard builds can be returned within 14 days of confirmed delivery if unused and in their original packaging. Change-of-mind returns carry a 30% restocking fee, and shipping is not refunded.

Custom spec, length or connector builds cannot be returned for a change of mind once production starts. Faults are a different matter: every cable has a 1-year warranty, so contact support@null-audio.com and we will assess it.
