AAW Q In-Canal Monitor

Very impressive product. Still burning them. Hoping to hit 1000 hours soon, right now at 300 hours, I can already hear a difference! Only downside would be getting a proper fit. Gotta get used to how small it is and then finding a proper angle.

Sound quality is excellent however the shape of the bud hurts the ears after prolonged use. But overall it’s pretty good.

Amazing bass and treble. Clarity is not bad too.

Got this on sale in BF. Read all the review online, completely defer from what is written in reviews.
Bass is pretty much the dominant over the mid and everything. Feels sort of V shape sounding imo.

Cable: On the upper Y split, it's rubber. Bottom is Nylon which i personally hate it as it will get tangle very very easily.
Did i mention the cable noise? It's terrible, unless you wear the IEM overear.

Accessories: Looks good but don't work as intended to be.
Example like the case and cable clip.
Case looks really good but to keep the IEM back into the case is terrible.
Not only that, the case would not close fully due to the magnet isn't strong on it. So what you get is case constantly pop up.
The mould for the IEM is useless too. It's almost impossible to wind the cable up and have both site of the iem sat in the mould perfectly.

Cable clip, is utterly useless. the part where the cable suppose to is like 3-4 times larger than the cable itself.
Render it useless.

Tips: Hard to tip rolling on this due to the nozzle is pretty huge on this.
But AAW is generous enough to make sure include 6 pair of tips, 3 foam 3 silicone to ensure you get the right fitment. Kudos for that.

For the price (Original price)
, there is always a better option out there for the fraction of the price.

AAW is really daring in taking challenges to make a smallest IEM.
But sound isn't quite right up there.

I am quite impressed with the quality of sound of this item. It is great that I bought the second as a gift. Superb!

The Q is amazingly small but the sound is massive! Lows hit deep and hard, mids are crisp and the highs does not cause any fatigue. Only complaint i have is that the fit can be inconsistent and the supplied foam tips are too small to fit on the driver. A few of the foam tips have broken whilst trying to fit onto the driver. I'm using dual flange spin fits and they are the only tips that work for me. Stock tips don't seem to seal as well.

Overall i love the Q for its compact size. It's very comfortable and the sound is phenomenal when a good seal is achieved.

I would not get this iem for $299. There is so much more alternative for this price range. But i did get coz it was on discount :smiley:

Got it at 89 bucks beats everything at that price. It really needs an amp to run well though.

This item is too small, but sound clearly.
and minus point is low touch-noise.

Got these on sale and I have no complaints whatsoever. It's amazing how they pack such big sound into such a tiny package. This is probably the best all rounded single driver I've tried so far.

I was very pleasantly surprised just how good the AAW Q In Canal Monitors are.

The overall sound is quite balanced, they do have very detailed bass, sub bass and treble, but the mids are not so recessed as would be the case with more typical V shaped sounding IEM's.

I have been delighted with them, they are perfect for travel and to be honest they have relegated much more expensive iems such as the Shure SE 846, Audiofly AF1120, and LZ A4's too secondary use.

The monitors were great and the pickup process was seamless.

The AAW Q is unlike any IEM that I've experienced. They are tiny but sound big! Getting a good seal is easy and comfortable. Although, some people may encounter issues if their ear channel bends too sharply, like mine. My girlfriend had no issues and has happily claimed this pair for herself.

The sound thrives in the low mid and bottom. Great for songs that depend on a beat (pop or rock). You get good separation and speed from these tiny dynamic speakers. Really a fun and addictive headphone.

Audiophile sound from your phone, as these earphones are easy to drive. Lots of isolation and you can comfortably lay on your side with these in.

For a lot of people, this small form and energetic sound will be the perfect headphone. Even if you have a lot of other IEMs, give this a try. Very unique and you'all always find someway to use them.
